Loquat tree is a great contributor to mother nature. It is great to nature in that, it provides wonderful shade during the hot summer days. Not only for humans but for the existing gardens and plants beneath the tree.
This kind of tree is attractive to the human eyes not because of its colorful flowers but for its trimmed like overall shape.
Loquats start blooming flowers in November. These flowers are massive clusters of blooms with sweet scents. Therefore an abundance of insects are abuzz around it. Bees and bumming birds are frequent visitors in the morning. I find enjoyment in watching them pollinating the flowers one at a time.
Pollen and nectar are food sources of the bees and the birds. Bees make plants alive and without them plants won’t produce fruits and vegetables.
Bees enjoy the sweet pollen from the flowers. They keep my loquat alive. Without bees plants and crops won’t produce fruits and vegetables for human’s staple food.
Loquats need ample supply of water in order for it to produce good size and juicy fruits. Deep orange colored fruits are sweeter but if you prefer sourry taste fruit gather them while colored light yellow.
Note: Loquat fruits and leaves have medicinal benefits as well. There are quite a few articles about this in google. Try and look for it, you’ll be amazed. ( This would be a nice article to write in the future).
